pineapple - yogurt dessert


Ingredients

  • 1 can 20 oz pineapple chunks in its own juice
  • 1 container 17 oz greek yogurt (I personally prefer 2%)
  • 1 pack orange or lemon jello (gelatin dessert powder)

Instructions
Put a strainer over a bowl, pour pineapple to drain very well (do not discard the juice) and put it in the fridge.
In a big bowl dissolve the jello powder in one cup hot water and then add one cup juice instead of cold water.
Put the bowl in the fridge until the jello starts to thicken.
Add the yogurt in the bowl with jello and stir to unite, then add the pineapple chunks and stir again.
Pour the mixture in a cake form (silicone ones work perfect), or divide it in small forms or bowls.
Put it back in the fridge and wait until completely thicken.
