green peas



Ingredients
  • 1 pound or 500 gr green peas fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 bunch finely chopped spring onions
  • fresh or dry mint, or 1/2 bunch dill, or both finely chopped
  • salt and pepper

Instructions
Bring a saucepan over high heat, pour olive oil.
When olive oil is hot add chopped spring onions, reduce the heat to medium, and saute.
Add peas, stir and cook for about 2’.
Add 1/2 cup water reduce the heat to low and cook for 15’.
Add salt, pepper and mint or dill or both.
Add some water, if needed, and cook for 5’.
Combine your dish with greek yogurt.
